Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Increases Bounty for Missing Canine in Mexico to £15k
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the reward for details regarding his lost canine Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was had on a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any information about our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant incentive for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she's ok and comes home to our side shortly," the athlete posted on social media.
Earlier Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially announced that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has since uploaded numerous images of the cherished pet on Instagram.
A £7,500 reward was initially announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's location after a seven days, the player and his family raised the sum.
"We just want our pet back," he stated in an additional plea on social media after the decade-old dog disappeared.
The latest picture post is a monochrome image of Halo napping, her head resting in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the message: "How I wish to cuddle you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also shared a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have some "serious queries" surrounding the incident and worry the family "might not obtain clarity".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. It is unlikely we will," his wife's update read.
The Wales leader became part of Mexico's top-flight club Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his first appearance in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the first high profile British athlete to compete in the Mexican league.
